psalms and prophetic writings; its laws for the living of the meaningful

For power among METHODISTS to awaken the conscience of Christians to

our social evils; and for their emphasis upon the witness of experience and

the fruits of the disciplined life;

WE PRAISE THEE, O LORD, AND BLESS THY HOLY NAME.

For the PRESBYTERIAN reverence for the sovereignty of God and their

confidence in His faithfulness to His covenant; for their sense of the moral

law, expressing itself in constitutional government;

For the great number of FREE CHURCHES, both in town and country place,

speaking the gospel of salvation through humble repentence; preaching the

Word of God and inspiring their members for conscientious daily living;

O God, grant unto all these families within Thy great Church, that as they

come to sit down in Thy Kingdom, each may lay at Thy feet that special grace

and excellence with which Thou in times past hast endowed it, that we may
