Description

Dec-8-1925

This scene is a part of

Fish Creek Canyon, enroute

to Roosevelt Dam.

It is wonderful scenery

thru this particular

section. We had been twisting

and turning continually for

several miles. While we were

in Phoenix Tom Mix and a Co.

of fifty- people came to

Fish Creek Canyon to do

filming. Weather got so cool

after to much of waiting

mostly they returned to Calif.,

saying they'd be back later.

Not a great way beyond this

scene we spied what we at first

called a black kitten in the road.

We said "how funny, so far from

a house." Chas. opened the door

and a little monkey hopped right

into his lap and snuggled down in

seeming comfort. Then it walked

over onto my lap-which I didn't

exactly like, so it went back to Chas.

I said what if we do not find an

owner". He said "Ill keep it". A couple

of miles down the road we found the

owner looking for it. It hopped onto

his shoulder and just hugged him good.
