From Camp Baldy (Mch 10- '24

Some of us motored to the end

of the trail - "Ice Canyon" (!)

where we were one mile

high. Light snow on nearby

mts, and a good bit on the beautiful

peak in the background.

Mt San Antonio (better known

as "Baldy" had its head in

cloudland all day, so we had

not a glimpse of it.

Mr Hatchard Mrs Denny,

Mrs Sargent ^ Miss Simpson two Denny friends,

Wm Wheaton (the photographer)

Mr Sargent, Mrs Wheaton and

Mr Denny.

Mrs Hatchard, Mrs Porter, Mrs

Hofman and Mrs Hamilton "held

the fort "at Camp Baldy"
